How I Work

I'm Brian McCabe. I run Maven.ie as a solo growth marketing consultancy. Here's how it works, what I charge, and what you should expect.

I'm One Person, Not an Agency

When you work with Maven.ie, you work with me directly. I don't hand you off to a junior account manager. I don't outsource your SEO to a team in another country. Every strategy, every audit, every recommendation comes from me — someone with 10+ years of doing this at companies you've heard of.

That means I can only take on a limited number of clients at any time. If I'm at capacity, I'll tell you upfront and put you on a short waitlist rather than deliver diluted work.

What I Charge

Growth Audit (one-off): €1,500–€3,000 depending on scope. A 2-3 day deep dive into your marketing, funnel, analytics, and competitors. You get a prioritised action plan and a 60-minute walkthrough call.

Monthly Retainer: From €2,500/month. Ongoing growth marketing — strategy and execution. SEO, PPC, ASO, AI workflows, weekly reporting and calls. No lock-in contracts. Month-to-month.

Fractional CMO: From €3,000/month. Half a day per week of senior marketing leadership. Strategy, team mentoring, hiring support, board-level reporting.

Project Work: AI workflow setup, SEO migrations, product launch marketing — priced on scope. Typically €2,000–€5,000.

How Engagements Start

Every engagement starts with a free 30-minute discovery call. You tell me what's not working. I ask questions. If I think I can help, I'll outline how and what it would cost. If I can't help, I'll tell you that too — and point you somewhere better if I can.

What I Don't Do

I don't do social media management, graphic design, PR, or "brand identity workshops." I'm a growth marketer — I focus on acquisition, retention, and revenue. If you need brand work, I can recommend people I trust.

Affiliate & Referral Transparency

Some of my blog articles contain affiliate links to tools and platforms I use. If you sign up through those links, I may receive a small commission at no extra cost to you. I only recommend tools I've personally used. Affiliate links are always disclosed in the article.

If a client engagement involves recommending third-party tools or platforms, I'll always disclose if I have any financial relationship with the provider.
